Machine Operator Press Installation – Day

In order to increase and modernize our production capacity, we are installing a new, advanced press line this year and are looking for an enthusiastic new colleague who can experience the start-up of this installation from start to finish. You will receive extensive training from the supplier and will become the specialist of this new press installation.

Your responsibilities

As a Machine Operator Press Installation, you play a crucial role in the installation and operation of our new press line.

Prepare and correctly set up the line according to the planned drying and production schedule
Fill and empty buffers
Set up and convert the installation to the required specifications
Operate the line and monitor/adjust parameters based on regulations and experience
Monitor and adjust the quality of the bricks produced
Communicate with the colleague responsible for the transport of the pressed bricks
Record production data and technical observations
Perform minor maintenance tasks and ensure a clean working environment
Comply with all quality and safety regulations
After completing the training, you will also learn to set up and enter new production programs yourself

Your profile

You have several years of experience as a machine operator or machine operator, preferably in a production environment with continuous lines
You have experience in operating larger machines and more complex installations in a rougher production environment
You have received technical training or show technical affinity
Notions of servo-driven installations and sensors
Fluent knowledge of Dutch and/or English
